MOVE ‘N’ GROOVE PROCESS
Visual Identity | App Design | Sound Design | Film
OutcomeProcessFor my final dérive in Hyde Park, I chose rhythm as my lens and used film and audio as my mediums. I collected found sounds, video, and rhythmic patterns — observing how people’s movements could be translated into visual rhythm. This sparked the idea of building a beat from the sounds of the walk, and visualising the beat’s pattern through found footage: hence Hyde Park’s Groove was born.
Excited by the potential for infinite soundscapes, the project evolved into Move ‘n’ Groove — a concept for an app that could archive these rhythmic journeys, allowing users to contribute their own walks to a growing, global sound map.
