OutcomeProcessThis all began with Hyde Park’s Groove — a rhythmscape built from my walk around our assigned location, Hyde Park. My footsteps act as a ‘metronome’ and the found sounds were composed into a beat. The sounds layered from ground to sky rather than chronologically, creating a vertical audio snapshot of my time in the park.
But this only springboarded more questions: How many possible soundscapes can be found in one space? What if we could hear how each person experiences their own walk? What if we map the world through sound? Over time, Move 'n' Groove builds a polyrhythmic map — a growing, collective sound archive created from your personal walks, starting with Hyde Park and expanding globally.
